New Project Happening!
What’s up everybody? It’s the start of the Chinese New Year and what a way to start with a bang.
A new project is about to unfold. A few months ago I sat with a man named Hans Ebert, he’s on my friends list if you’d like to see more details, who came up with a concept of a song.
After hours and days of chit chat, I recorded the song with Hans at Schtung Music. The results was a fast, fun and enjoyable session with the help from Morton Wilson, Anne Young, and Tung the engineer.
The song is titled "Proud to be Chinese (P2BC)" The idea is to reach out to the Asian community like an Anthem and just remind ourselves to be proud of who we are. The style is a mix of linkin-park/hiphop/something fun. It also mentions icons from Asia (bruce lee, Maggie Q) and of course the food!
The song is making its rounds right now. MTV asia and MTVChi will launch the song shortly. Feedback has been real positive. I’m currently working on follow-ups for the song. An album maybe? You’ll have to wait and see.
